SALVATORE (SAL) C. DiSANTO (left) and JEFFREY (JEFF) K. HANNA (right) are the Co-Portfolio Managers of Aquila Narragansett Tax-Free Income Fund.

Mr. DiSanto has been the Portfolio Manager of Aquila Narragansett Tax-Free Income Fund since its inception in 1992, and is Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Officer with Citizens Investment Advisors, the Sub-Adviser to the Fund, and a department of Citizens Bank of Rhode Island.  He has 46 years of experience in fixed income investment management, and oversees asset management for high net-worth individuals, as well as corporate pension, endowment and institutional accounts. 

Mr. DiSanto attended Bryant College and is a member of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts.

Jeff Hanna has been Co-Portfolio Manager of Aquila Narragansett Tax-Free Income Fund since 2004, and is Vice President and Investment Officer with Citizens Investment Advisors, the Sub-Adviser to the Fund, and a department of Citizens Bank of Rhode Island.   He has over 22 years of investment experience and was previously with Citizens Treasury Group where he was responsible for managing over $1.5 billion in assets and liabilities.  Mr. Hanna has been with Citizens Bank since 1988 and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Jeff holds Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Spanish from Kent State University and an M.A. in Economics from The University of Rhode Island.  He is a High Honors graduate of the BAI (Bank Administration Institute) School and the Advanced Leadership Development Program at Babson College.  He is on the Board of Directors of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts, the Investment Committee of the Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, and the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of East Providence.

Both Mr. DiSanto and Mr. Hanna are based in Providence, Rhode Island, which enables them to maintain a careful watch over the Fund's portfolio investments. They frequently travel throughout the state to check on current and prospective investments.
