Responsibilities: Representative’s primary responsibility is to service our shareholders, broker/dealer distribution network and field representatives directly and, as necessary, through direct interface with the Transfer Agent. Oftentimes, shareholders and financial intermediaries establish their first impression of our fund group / products based upon the level of service they receive from this department. Traditionally, we have had a strong reputation for personal touch customer service. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Answer broker/dealer, shareholder and field representative questions and requests in a knowledgeable, prompt and friendly manner
• Coordinate mailings to sales representatives, brokers and prospective shareholders
• Coordinate shareholder meeting activity with Legal Counsel, Transfer Agent, Proxy Agent and others
• Research, review and monitor
• Brokerage and shareholder accounts
• Broker/dealer performance
• Transfer agency invoices
• Quarterly payments to broker/dealers
• Maintain and update marketing and sales material
• Data compilation, analysis and reporting, including
• Daily transactions and price information
• Competitive data
• Cost of shares
• Hypothetical and other requested calculations
• Reports to Trustees and officers
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree
• Series 6 And 63 minimum but willing to train & sponsor the right candidate to take exam.
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (EXCEL, WORD, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Customer service and/or sales experience, especially within a brokerage, financial services
or mutual Funds environment a major plus
• Ideal candidate is a self-starter, able to work independently
• Strong ability to communicate with other team members
• Positive, proactive attitude with goal to continually exceed expectations
